Parents who have dropped off children at either the school or pre-school are warmly invited to the St John’s Institute for a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of toast on Wednesday term times from 9am-10am, starting from Wednesday 27 February.

All are welcome.

For those who are interested, there will also be a service at 7.30pm on Thursday 28th March and a service of reflection from 2pm-3pm on Good Friday, March 29th, led by Rev’d Michael Collier.
Please do join us for any of these services.

Currently the cheapest compost bin through the County Council’s discount scheme is £16 plus a £5.49 delivery charge.
Councillor John Allsop, our cabinet member for recycling and technology, said: “I’d encourage anyone thinking of getting into composting to buy a bin before the end of March to save that little bit extra.
“We want to help Derbyshire residents reduce the amount of waste they send to landfill. Composting at home is a great way of achieving this and also helps protect the environment.
Compost bins and accessories can be ordered via or by calling 0844 571 4444.
