Vitamin D for me!

The role of vitamin D in preventing attacks in MS is becoming increasingly recognised. This has been highlighted by the absence of MS around the equator where there is plenty of sun to create vitamin D. So with plenty of sunlight this summer, then those of us with MS need to be rolling up our sleeves to soak up the rays. Although the recommended 10 -15 minutes of skin exposure to the sun, 3 to 5 times a week, might be possible at the moment, it might be a bit of a tall order throughout the year!

Vitamin D or sunshine might be discussed at our next get together at Vanilla Kitchen and there again it could be about anything; informality rules! Our next Get together is on Saturday 31st August at 2 pm in the Ice cream parlour at Vanilla Kitchen, Tideswell.
