With two great evenings supporting Russell Watson in his “up close and personal” UK tour, Tideswell Male Voice Choir are pleased to announce “ A Night at the Cathedral” the annual performance at the Cathedral of the Peaks, (St John the Baptists Church, Tideswell) to be held on Saturday 27th June. With tickets available at the door, the event starts at 19:30. This year the event coincides with the second Saturday of TIDZA wakes week known locally as “Big sat’dy” , so provides a great opportunity to enjoy a musical interlude between the daytime carnival and the evening torchlight procession.

The choir’s featured guests for this year’s event are the Robins Singers from Bramhall, Cheshire. This a 30 strong mixed voice choir will bring a great contrast with Tideswell Male Voice with a programme of contemporary and traditional song.

Preceding the concert Tideswell will hold a reception for Patrons and invite those who are interested in becoming Patrons of the choir to come and hear about the Patronage program. The reception starts at 18:00 in the institute building behind the Church and next to the Choirs HQ the old grammar school, so come an enjoy some refreshment and find out more about how to be a Patron of the renowned Tideswell Male voice Choir. We look forward to seeing you at the reception and/or the concert in the magnificent Cathedral of the Peaks
