This month’s film ‘Boyhood’ is remarkable, as it was shot with the same cast over a period of 12 years. It is a groundbreaking story of growing up, as seen through the eyes of a child. ‘Boyhood’ follows the life of six year old Mason through to college, looking at his family, his friendships, and his romantic relationships, as he moves towards adulthood. The film received numerous nominations and awards, including winner of the 2015 Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture, and the BAFTA for Best Film. Beautifully made, unusual, and well worth seeing.

It will be shown at 7.30pm on Thursday 21st January upstairs in the George, and is open to everyone interested (£4 Guest Membership for the evening).

(Several businesses around the village have Tideswell Cinema display racks, where leaflets are available with the full list of the season’s films.)
