The Voice Needs You

We hope you enjoy reading The Village Voice. We have regular suppliers of content, a loyal band of advertisers who make it all possible and a fabulous team of distributors who post copies through your door in rain, hail, snow and sun!

However, recent victims of the technological age, have been the amazing band of people who every month folded over 1250 copies of The Voice. That was before we took possession of our new printer, which folds and staples too. Our folderers were no longer needed!

New Volunteers Needed This great technological leap forward has resulted in the need for a new breed of volunteers however – The Booklet Bundlers.

This vital role isn’t onerous. It involves taking a stint by the printer and taking the printed, folded and stapled Voices off the printer and bundling them into groups of ten and popping them into boxes. We currently have a small team but could do with half a dozen more to come forward.

Full training is given for this monthly job. You’ll have the satisfaction of doing a great job and will earn the eternal gratitude of the current VV team and, of course, you, our readers.

It takes around ten hours to print each and every copy of the Voice every month. The more volunteers we have the shorter everybody’s shift is. Please contact me on 872470 or
