The Magistrate

Following the fall of snow in the last few days quite a few people who had hoped to join us for The Magistrate were unable to do so. I have just spoken with the distributors of the National Theatre content and they have confirmed that we are able to re-screen the content within six weeks of the original production.

The encore of the encore of The Magistrate will take place at 7.30pm on Monday 18 February at our usual venue at The George. Those who saw it live or at the first encore
were treated to a spectacularly staged Victorian farce with some outstanding performances.
Anyone who had bought tickets who couldn’t join us may transfer their ticket to the new performance. There will be more tickets available to buy for anyone who wishes to come to this performance. Do get in touch if you would like to reserve a seat.
Sadly, we are not in a position to offer a further encore screening of La Boheme because the rights to screen this content have already expired.
