Thank you to local businesses from Tideswell school.

Friends of Tideswell School would like to say a heartfelt thank you for the generosity of their supporters at the recent summer fund raising events.

Of particular note are Johnny O’Connell at The Bulls Head in Foolow who donated the beer for the summer barbeque, and Jeannie Mason at The Red Lion in Litton who donated a meal voucher for the raffle.

Thanks also to Robert Walker at The Peak District Dairy who thoroughly spoiled the children with ice creams at the end of term.

And yet more thanks to every business and family in and around the village who has donated prizes and supported our events this year.  In response to recommendations in the recent Ofsted report which rated Bishop Pursglove as a “Good” school, we are currently raising money to buy a fantastic “pick up sticks” climbing frame for the infant playground.

Thanks again to everyone for all your generosity.
