Tideswell preschool has had a great first six month in our new home, The Old Grammar School.

We had a very busy time Bug Hunting with Robin from Nottingham University and followed on the interest with our own ant farm and stick insects.  We’ve been hatching our own chickens, Willow and Mickey, and our Ducklings, Sheldon and Lucky, and we are now eagerly awaiting the most imminent arrival of our quails.

The children have really enjoyed decorating our first real well dressing and displaying it for Wakes Week and great fun was had by all on the carnival float.

Finally we would like to give special thanks to Maureen and Judy for regularly inviting the children to help plant and grow in the Community Garden.

Thank you to everyone who has helped is in our transition to the Old Grammar School, especially the Male Voice Choir and David and Robert Hopkins.

Limited places are still available for September (2-4 year olds).

Our mobile number is 07840 765 377.
