Marking her retirement

Doctor Mark has decided to retire from the surgery on September 30 after 20 years. She will be sadly missed by the team at Tideswell Surgery.

We want to create a book of memories and we are asking you to look out old photographs of you and your family or written anecdotes/memorabilia and bring them to the surgery. We will scan them and let you have the originals back.

On September 24, there will be an open afternoon from 2-4pm with light refreshments so friends, colleagues and patients can have a chat with her and gifts will be presented.

New Partnership Dr Kim Cooke will be forming a new partnership at Tideswell Surgery with Dr Cox and a new salaried GP, Dr Angela Parry, who will work Monday and Friday mornings and all day Wednesday and will start work on October 1st.

From August a new F2 doctor, Timothy Harrison will be starting. An F2 doctor is a fully qualified doctor who wants to be a GP. Carly has rejoined us after Maternity leave and Maria has left us to join another practice.

The surgery is closed on Monday 28 August. Our out-of hours number is 111 if you want a doctor in an emergency.
