How lucky we were to get the ‘History Box’ painted whilst the weather was still warm and dry. Our thanks to Nick Motley, I’m sure you will all agree the box looks so much better for a clean up and a coat of paint.

We understand the ‘Village Jungle Drums’ have been beating out the wrong information about the cost of the painting, IT HAS NOT COST £1k, but thank you for taking notice of the improvements and we ask you to look out for more to come in the near future.

The ‘Poetry Books’ are still available. Contact any member of the group and they will let you have one for £1.50. We have had so many ‘congratulations’ and ‘praises’ about the booklets that we are really overwhelmed by the general response. Many thanks to all who have bought one. Also many thanks to Glynis Hughes for selling them at her recent Coffee Morning held in aid of the Macmillan Cancer Charity.

Our next meeting is Friday 25th October 10 a.m at Vanilla Kitchen and then Friday 8th November; all are welcome.
