An exciting programme of live screenings, and encores is scheduled by Tideswell Cinema, and as tickets go quickly, if you are interested please book soon, so that you are not disappointed. On 28th April, straight from the Royal Opera House, the ballet based on Shakespeare’s great romance “The Winter’s Tale” is to be screened. This is Christopher Wheeldon’s new ballet – the man behind the enchanting “Alice In Wonderland” ballet which was shown here in 2013. It is a story of endearing love, loss and reconciliation, and is the highlight of The Royal Opera House’s ballet season. To book, contact 01298 872993 or email Tickets cost £15 (£12.50 concessions).

Early next month the live screening of “King Lear”, from The National Theatre on 1st May, is fully booked but we are showing an encore on Thursday 8th May, and tickets still remain (£10). This is a production directed by Sam Mendes, and stars the acclaimed actor Simon Russell Beale. Bookings are also now being taken for the Alan Ayckbourn play “A Small Family Business”, to be screened on Thursday 12th June, with an encore on Monday 16th June.
