Litton Parish Matters

November 25, 2014 | Filed under: 2014, December 2014

On Thursday 11 December from 7.00 to 8.00 pm the Parish Council will be holding a consultation meeting to listen to the views of residents on proposals to build affordable housing in Litton. The meeting will be held in Litton Village Hall and all residents of the Parish are invited to attend. A notice providing further information about the meeting will be sent to households and will be placed on Council notice boards.

In the last copy of the Village Voice I reported that work had started on the Garden of Remembrance in the cemetery. The seat and the raised flower bed have been completed so visitors can now see the basis for the Garden. So far comments have been very positive and by the middle of next year the Parish Council expect to have undertaken some planting and to be able to offer ashes burials and memorial plaques in the Garden.

My next report will be in 2015 and so until then the Council wishes all residents a good Christmas and a successful and enjoyable New Year.

Warm regards from Councillors John Evans, Chris Thirtle, John Butler, Gordon Rook , Mike Renger, Anne Evans and our Clerk Gill Turner.
