Joe and Lee Wain would like to introduce themselves as the new tenants of the Horse and Jockey. Joe is a Tidza lad, born and bred, and Lee hails from Marple. The couple run two successful bars in Brighton, and are now looking forward to bringing their flair for the pub business, to Tideswell.

Joe, Lee, assistant manager Cathy, and their staff, would like to welcome customers, old and new, to perhaps sample the Real Ales, relax with a refreshing Gin and Tonic, or enjoy scrumptious food from the newly revised menu.

A young, ambitious chef, Kieran Wagstaffe, has also joined the team. Kieran has previously worked for the Chatsworth Estate, and at the Old Hall in Buxton. He will provide fresh food of a high standard, using quality, local produce, wherever possible, but at a price to suit most budgets. Food will be served Monday to Friday 12pm-3pm and again from 6pm-9pm, 12pm-9pm on Saturdays and 12pm-7pm on Sundays.

Joe and Lee are looking forward to bringing regular live music back to the Jockey, and on Friday 3 November, Gabrielle Parish will be performing old and new hits from 9pm. So get your dancing shoes on!
