Helen’s Trust News and Events | April 2015

April 20, 2015 | 0 Comments | Filed under: 2015, May 2015

With less than a fortnight to go, the office is a flurry of 10k and 3k preparations! With the choice of 2 races, and lots to do in our race arena, our event is a really great family day out. You can really challenge yourself with a 10k, or have some fun with friends and family with the 3k. Whilst it’s not compulsory, every year some of our 3k entrants run in fancy dress too. Click here to visit the registration section of our website and ENTER either the 10k or 3k Fun Run. If you’re not a runner, we would still really value your help on the day. We have lots of really interesting VOLUNTEERING opportunities and we need lots of help to make our biggest fundraising event of the year a huge success. Please contact Zoe (mailto:fundraising@helenstrust.org.uk) if you can help us on 3rd May between 8am and 1pm. If you’ve entered the 10k, keep an eye out for an email from us later this week with everything you need to know about your race pack and information you’ll need on the day. For everything you need to know about the event please click here.

Alternatively please give us a call at the office on 01629 812759 and we’ll happily answer any questions. We are extremely grateful to all our Helen’s Trust Friends who collectively donate over £2000 each year. Could you consider making a small regular donation to help us plan for our future? Every single donation we receive makes a big difference to the services we provide. Read about some of the people we’ve helped, and how important every single donation is here. To make a single donation or to set up a regular payment please click here. Thank you.

Strutting Our Stuff on Sunday 19th April

We had a really enjoyable dog walk round Fernilee Reservoir on Sunday 19th April, in aid of Helen’s Trust and Blythe House Hospice. We’d like to thank everyone who joined us, and all your lovely pooches, who all got along swimmingly! Many thanks also to Bakewell Pet Supplies who provided doggie treats, and our very own volunteer Trish, who provided hungry owners with delicious brownies. We have many non-dog-orientated events too. Why not have a look at all our upcoming activities here.
