This is a reminder that BECT operates a door to door bus service for anyone from Tideswell and District to Buxton on a Wednesday morning. The bus can collect from Cressbrook, Litton, Tideswell, Millers Dale and Priestcliffe starting at 9.30 and aiming to be in Buxton by 10.30. The passengers can be dropped off at Morrisons or in the Town Centre. The bus will start the return journey at 12 o’clock giving shoppers approximately an hour and a half in Buxton.
To take advantage of this excellent service passengers need to ring and book a place by mid-afternoon (3pm) at the latest on the Tuesday before the trip. The number is 01629 641920. The cost is £3 for a return journey if you have a gold card and are registered with BECT or £6 if you don’t have a gold card. There is a limit of three large shopping bags per person.

This service will run until September 2017 when the schedule will change due to a complete withdrawal of funding by Derbyshire County Council.
