The event takes place on Sunday 1st May 2016 with a start time of 9.30am for the 10k race. Parking is free for those attending the event, which is set to be a fun, family friendly morning, with lots happening in the race arena and the 3k race starting at 11.30am.

To mark the 10th Anniversary of the run, earlybird entrants can take advantage of a £2 saving off the registration fee which will increase to the normal price of £18 for unaffiliated runners and £16 for affiliated on 1st February 2016.

The first 250 runners through the Finish Line have a treat in store this year too, with Bloomers of Bakewell donating 250 Bakewell Pudding.

“This is the biggest event in our calendar and we look forward to it every year. Said Helen’s Trust Chief Executive, Heidi Hawkins.

“We’re encouraging runners to cement this very popular race in their calendar and we’re celebrating our anniversary year by offering a £2 discount until the end of January.

“You can challenge your personal best, or run with friends, have fun and enjoy the atmosphere and the beautiful setting of Chatsworth, knowing you are helping us to support local people with terminal illness to stay in their own homes.”

There are various sponsorship opportunities available for businesses to get involved with the 10k event, supporting their local charity and promoting their services to upwards of 1000 runners and spectators on the day. To discuss sponsorship contact the Helen’s Trust team on 01629 812759.
