Chaotic Christmas in Tideswell

A heart warming and thought provoking comedy by a local writer is being performed in the village this November.

All The Lonely People, written by Sue Hawkins, is Tideswell Community Players’ latest production. It will be performed Thursday 23rd November to Saturday 25th November.

The play is set around the meetings of a village committee that decides to put on a community Christmas meal. As the preparations develop we see into the personal lives and problems of the committee members and how they attempt to resolve them, sometimes with fairly chaotic results. Everyone assumes everyone else has a perfect Christmas like in the adverts, but not everyone is as they seem.

With a festive theme and some poignant moments, this comedy is an excellent show to see in the lead up to Christmas.

Containing some music and a cast of familiar faces (some less familiar and one or two surprise appearances), you should make sure of your ticket now! We’ve also managed to keep ticket prices at a reduced level and are planning to sell festive refreshments in the interval.

7:30pm Thursday 23rd November to Saturday 25th November at The Institute (behind Tideswell Church). Tickets £7.00 and £5.00 (concessions) available during November from Tideswell Stores and Litton Shop. Available online through TicketSource (small charge applies). Bookings on or phone 07729 983005. Follow Tideswell Theatre on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
