This year has been a busy year for the Bishop Pursglove School choir. In January they joined thousands of other children to take part in the amazing Young Voices concert at the Sheffield Motorpoint Arena. This was a truly spectacular concert and it was great to sing with such an amazing band and be accompanied by such talented soloists and dancers.

In February they were very fortunate to have Joyce Ellis, founder and director of Kinder Children’s Choirs join them to lead the choir for 6 weeks. During that time, the quality of their singing really improved. Mr Twelves and all the children want to say a huge thank you to Miss Ellis for helping them so much. This all led to another brilliant concert at the Octagon in Buxton where they joined with a few other local primary school choirs and the Kinder Children’s Choir. BPS were the smallest choir represented, but the quality of their singing and behaviour was absolutely wonderful. Thanks to all the parents that helped with transport and supported the choir by attending the concerts.
